We are not a Program. RowdyOrb.it is a for profit company that believes in on-the-job-training or Learning By Doing (30% classroom instruction / 70% hands on learning).
Our goal is simple....HIRE THE COMMUNITY and continually deliver technical training and hands-on expertise. Making sure each individual becomes a Wifi-Mesh Technicians and the Last Mile Provider SME with the deep technical expertise to build an ISP.
Ultimately, growing placed economics within one bus route, increasing positive social cohesion, while building upon the narrative of "hyper-local hires, local heroes."

This is not JOB. This is a long-term career opportunity to either become a Broadband Infrastructure National Apprentice (partnership with Wireless Infrastructure Association TIRAP). Or progress into our technical project based work with national, regional, local tech companies. Placing an individual to become an entry-level developer or technical designer.

Instead of just focusing on employment, we wanted to make sure the whole of the person received just as much attention. It's vitally important to partner with CBOs (Community Based Organizations) to provide support within areas of Mental Health, Professional Development, Food Security, Family Reconciliation, Housing Assistance, etc...
For some, this shift into a career is a new reality. We make sure the information matches the expertise, to feed into "the whole of person," rather than checking the employment box.
